    P’tit Musset

To hell with the diet! this is one bistro where you can live! Le P’tit Musset is a traditional French restaurant. Denis Musset, the Chef, knows its products. This son of a butcher from Champagne -grandson of a farmer- does not forget its origins region.

He knows how to choose and prepares its products. He has a passion for the pig he loves cooking it in all its forms. He proposes on his menu one of the best black pudding of France signed by the chef Basque Christian Parra. And its hams are coming from the other side of the Pyrenees. These are the pata negra ham and Iberian serano. Its terrine of pork with spices is a treat. Ditto for the pork cheek braised served with a homemade mashed potatoes.

But it’s not just the pig that Denis Musse knows to work. This Chef combines classicism and skills sharpened for tasty dishes. He knows to be innovative by example with this chicken pressed and foie gras served with onion jam.

One could cite other great classics of French cuisine as the turbot with champagne butter, the calf’s head served with sauce ravigote or the rib steak of Salers beef.

For dessert, the « crème brûlée » is flavored with Bayley’s liquor and the baba au rhum is as tender as big … Given the quality of the service, the lunch menu to 20 € (starter-main course or main course and dessert) is very digestible.
