Le Petit Acacia – Chez Fred

You can’t miss Le Petit Acacia it with its barrels on the sidewalk, its red benches, its checkered tablecloths and its many bottles on the counter.
Very close to the Arc of Triumph, Le Petit Acacia is a genuine wine bistro of Paris.

    Fred and Awa.

His Boss, Fred Boulanger, (see above), Awa,his fiance and its partner and their team, give such a warm ambiance in their place that you won’t forget it. Fred is the archetype of the Parisian bistro owner, a joker who never stops with always a joke to make. He has his fans in all the neighborhood. But it is also and of course thanks to its cook and its wines that the Petit Acacia has had loyal customers for decades.

Fred and Awa will introduce you to the best traditions of the french gastronomy. The genuine products are coming straight from Auvergne. Like the ham or the Aligot (mashed potatoes mixed with tome cheese of Auvergne).

Here you will taste some of the most authentic recipes from Auvergne like the stuffed cabbage gratinated with Cantal cheese or beef cheek cooked in a Marcillac wine sauce (19,80€).

Le Petit Acacia is the perfect place to enjoy some of the great recipes of the French culinary repertoire at more than reasonable prices. Like the forest veal chop with cream and mushrooms (€23.50) or the duck confit. These dishes are cooked by Chef Lionel who knows like no one else how to best express the taste of a product like this plate of scallops. Le Petit Acacia is also famous for its meats like the beef chop (1.2 kg for two people – €68) served with its marrow bones.

For desserts, the bistro also returns to the great classic desserts like the famous Paris-Brest (8,50€) a ring a puff pastry covered with slivered almonds, cut in half and spread with praline butter . Without forgetting the rum baba ( 12,50€) served with its bottle of rum on the table.
